Thelma Lynn McMasters of Arlington, VA was born on April 1, 1948, in Jackson, MN. She passed away peacefully at her home on September 16, 2023. Thelma spent her working life in Jackson, where she touched the lives of many as a dedicated school teacher for 27 years.

Thelma's passion for education was evident in her tireless dedication to her students. Over nearly three decades, she nurtured young minds, instilling in them a love for learning that went far beyond the classroom. Her compassion and patience made her a cherished figure in the lives of the countless children she taught.

At the age of 25, Thelma married the love of her life, Bart McMasters. Together, they built a life full of love and joy, raising three wonderful children: Abe, Bertha, and Cob.

Family was always at the center of Thelma's world, and she poured her heart and soul into being a loving wife and mother.

Thelma McMasters is survived by her three adoring children, who carry her legacy of love, kindness, and determination. Although preceded in death by her beloved husband, Bart, the memories of their love and the life they built together will forever live on in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing them both.

In her free time, Thelma enjoyed tending to her garden, where she grew vibrant flowers and cultivated a sense of tranquility. She found solace in the beauty of nature and spent countless hours outdoors, appreciating the simple wonders of life.
